Housed in a 13,000 square foot building on 6 acres in East Maryville, convenient to I–I40, Seymour and South Knoxville, Perpetual Motion has been serving Blount County for over 35 years. The center also includes a separate 1,900 sq. ft. After School building, 2 swimming pools and pool house, large outdoor playground, sand volleyball court, soccer field, picnic area, dormitories, and plenty of parking.
Perpetual Motion Gymnastics. Safety is our first priority. Our carefully planned curriculum helps children progress through the skills in an appropriate physical and emotional developmental manner. The 7,000 sq. ft. gym is filled with colorful progressive skill building equipment to ensure a safe, fun learning environment. All classes are taught in circuits throughout the gym to assure more time progressing, less time sitting. Preschool gymnastics classes are grouped by age. School age gymnastics classes are grouped by both age and ability.
Perpetual Motion Preschool, a 3-STAR, year-round educational center for children ages 1-5 years has separate, fully equipped classrooms for each age group, an experienced, caring staff, a traditional preschool curriculum, kitchen, and cafeteria. Large motor skill development is very important to us. Our outside playgrounds offer many choices for large motor development.

Perpetual Motion School Aged Holiday Camps. Our holiday school age programs are planned when schools have extended breaks. Pre-enrollment is required.
Summer Day Camp at Perpetual Motion. Our traditional Activity Summer Camp, for children 6-12 years, includes swimming 5-days a week (pools on property), sports and recreation, arts & crafts, special activity days such as Survivor Island Day, Field Day, and Wacky Olympics, and much more!
Breakfast, lunch and snack are included in the fee. Perpetual Motion is the only school age day camp that includes everday onsite swimming as part of the weekly and daily fees. Camp hours are 7:00am—6:00pm.
Camp runs from the end of May through the first week in August. You can register for the entire summer or just a week or two. Space for camp is limited. Please call the office 984-1253 for more information and a summer camp registration packet.
Perpetual Motion Summer Swimming Lessons. Teaching children to swim is so critical during the preschool and early elementary school years. Our shallow pool is specifically designed for our small classes. These classes are grouped by age and ability with a teacher to child ratio of 1 to 4 for non-swimmers and 1 to 6 for advanced beginners and intermediate skilled children.
